Teaching Style
Liza’s classes are dynamic and fun. During the sessions, she continuously draws students’ attention to the breath – a tool used to consciously access our physical bodies and get out of our minds. Moreover, she uses creative sequences of asanas with detailed alignment techniques, chanting, uplifting music, visualization and relaxation techniques, where you will experience moments of physical chalenge and moments of deep relaxation towards the end of the class
Through her sense of humour, soothing voice and enthusiasm, Liza also shares in her classes the importance of acceptance. Acceptance of the fact that we all have different bodies, different experiences and have been given different messages throughout our lives which have affected us in specific ways. As we get more and more in tune with ourselves, through yoga, we can start to recognize who we really are and see the difference between the self that which has been created through our conditioning and that which really is the true self.
In her vinyasa flow classes, the aim is to flow from the heart, coming this way closer to our inner truth and being able to relate to the world and others with a more compassionate and positive approach
Liza’s teaching style has been influenced by many internationally recognized teachers such as Shiva Rea, Paul Grilley, Sean Corn, Max Strom, Sarah Powers, Wah! and most recently Jai Uttal.
